Business Writing in Chinese consists of a series of workshop-type modules, designed to show commendable techniques and skills in writing business correspondences, newsletters, proposals and other promotional materials, using standard and professional Chinese. Each workshop can be conducted as an in-house training, or e-learning via the Internet.

Course in Brief Suppose you have a message you wish to convey to the media, or you would like to describe in precise wordings your product, service, or organization to your potential clients. This workshop will teach how to write press releases and other promotional materials so as to attract the widest attention from readers. The workshop will also discuss on how and when to distribute your releases.

The course will include a series of modules on Wording and Phrasing, Ethics, Plagiarism, Direct Wording, Protecting Information, Advanced of Technical Writing, Readability, Strategy, House style, Capitalization, Numbers, Abbreviations, and Fast Checking.

Tests and assignments that consist of drills, games and compositions will be used to assess participants' knowledge in terms of word usage, common pitfalls and errors, sentence structures, common sense writing, and practical business writing skills.
